Engagement Options
John H Powell Consulting (JHPC) is a niche consulting practice serving the unique needs of the Automated Point of Sale Industry (Traditional and Non-traditional Vending) and the Micro Payments Industry.
JHPC offers offers its clients four ways to engage:

Topic specific classes:
- Formal presentations on selective topics
- Includes follow on Q&A session
- Briefings may be offered on site or virtually depending on topic and audience
- Includes single use license for all briefing materials

Flat hourly rate:
- $175 per hour
- 10-hour minimum
- Billed weekly in full hour increments
- Client covers all travel related expenses
- Terms 10 – 10, net 30
- Client must remain current for consulting to continue

Project specific engagement:
- Project defined by client’s statement of work
- Project description
- Consultant deliverable
- Client deliverable
- Project timeline with milestones
- Fee quote based on work required
- 1/3 down payment required prior to the start of the engagement
- 1/3 due upon completion of mutually agreed upon milestones
- 1/3 due upon completion
- Client covers all travel related expenses
- $10,000 minimum
- Work product becomes the property of the client
- Client guarantees JHPC staff access to all data, systems, materials, locations, and personnel as needed to complete the project on time

Retained services:
- Retainer negotiated based on anticipated workload
- Provides client ongoing access to JHPC services for any project or issue
- Work product becomes the property of the client
- $25,000 minimum
